Wanna Trek? Visit Chopta 😍

As Summer is on it's peak, you must be wondering where to go to get rid of this hot weather and get to see chill scenic view with lovely weather. Well, residing in Uttrakhand, Chopta is one of the most picturesque spot you will find more closer than any other hill station. If you are one of those who love to trek then Chopta is best destination for you in terms of less time consuming, beauty, trekking and pleasant view. What else anyone could have asked for? Honestly, an alluring view with a best spot to trek is all I need. 

When I decided to visit Chopta on 17 December 2021, I found snow on Chandrashila trek. Chandrashila is one of the most thrilling yet adventures trek you will ever do in Uttrakhand.  Located at the height of 3,690 meters, this will provide you the beauty of Himalayas, Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba peaks. Trekking in snow is what makes it more action-packed and different than other trekking spot with the panaromic view. To make it more stirring, I choose off roads paths to come down  and let me tell you, that is something you will never forget in your life.

17 December 2021 - It was a 3 day short yet adventurous trip for me. We (me and my 3 friends) booked a car and leaves to Chopta by 11 PM so that we can reach by 10 AM.

18 December 2022 - After a 2.5 km trek, we stayed in a tent at the peak of Deoriatal Trek, which we have booked already. Took some rest and lunch, we explore Deoriatal lake, which is at the height of 2,438 metres from Sari, Ukhimath Chopta road.  Come back by 5 PM in our tent, as the weather is getting colder and colder with every minute. Had dinner and party with bonfire, music, fun and chit chat. The weather was bearable untill we get back to sleep by 12 AM. Trust me, till the moment you're sitting at bonfire, you will be able to cop up with the weather but the moment you get up, you will start shivering. Even when I was all packed, I was shivering like hell and was in moisture by morning as the bed was totally wet. 

19 December 2021 - Last Day in Chopta. We woke up by 7 Am, had Maggie in breakfast, which tastes different in hill station and has its own fun. We leave by 9 AM to do Chandrashila trekk. Not to forget, you will find it less difficult if you will be able to do Deoriatal Trek. We started our Chandrashila trek by 11 AM and what a beautiful place it is, can't expressed in words. It won't be wrong to say "If you never go, you will never know" because that mesmerizing view, whenever I recall that trip I get lost in those 3 days and wants to go again. I found snow on the trek, which make it slippery but once you reach at it's peak, you will find it worthy and adventures yet memorable for lifetime. We head back by 6 PM as we had to leave for Delhi and by 3 Am we were in Delhi. 

If you haven't visit Chopta yet, then you must plan to go there. The best time to visit Chopta is April to June when the weather is pleasent and clear.
